BEN LUNJEVICH

Ben is North Waters Managing Director and Project Delivery Manager for Watermain Infrastructure. He started a watermains company Construct Civil Ltd in 2017. This grew rapidly and expanded into other areas of civil, in which Ben wanted to focus on quality assurance and specializing in particular areas. He sold in 2021 and joined Dempsey Wood to develop their water division, which is now known as North Water.

 

Ben recently won the Young Water Professional of the Year Award at the Water New Zealand Excellence Awards 2022 and previously Winner of CCNZ 2019 Young Contractor of the Year. Ben draws on his extensive utilities experience and professionalism to support safe systems of work and guide projects to success. He is a perfectionist in everything he does and holds himself accountable for the level of standard his team sets. He is passionate about the personal growth of his employees and installing leadership qualities through continual upskilling, training and self development.

With extensive technical and operational experience obtained over the last 15 years, his track record in delivering quality outcomes is strongly complemented by his personable nature and high level of expectation.

JOSHUA AUGUSTINO

Joshua is NorthWaters Construction Manager. He made his start in the water industry as a Reactive Maintenance Technician, moving onto Watercare as a Leading hand and Reactive Water Maintenance technician. Josh then moved across to Fulton Hogan as a Supervisor for New Water Connections and later joined Construct Civil as an Operations Manager. Working with Josh at Construct Civil, he was an intracule part of the growth and management of the water division.

 

Josh is a perfectionist in everything he does, which is critical in our line of work for quality assurance and success when working with complex projects. His professionalism, interpersonal skills and culture building alongside his extensive experience, skill and knowledge in the water industry go hand in hand where he leads by example. We couldn't ask for a better man for the job!

JERRY ISA'AKO

Jerry Isaako is the Watermain Supervisor for NorthWater. With vast experience in watermain installation formerly working for Dempsey Wood where he took out Employee of the Year Award 2022.

 

Jerry is a machine. He will always go above and beyond to exceed expectations, using his advanced technical skills, extensive experience and an eye for detail required to carry out the highest quality of watermain install from the ground preparation, welding, laying pipe, connections through to pressure testing, chlorination’s and documentation.

 

He is not only highly skilled in carrying out the technical operations for complex jobs but is a natural leader and role model for his crews, currently multitasking a number of teams ensuring they are following their program, on schedule, acting as a mentor and creating team culture.

BRIAN CUNNINGHAM

Brian is a Watermains Supervisor for NorthWater. He is based in the Waikato region however he helps to manage and carry out work for all projects where his experience is required.

 

Brian has very diverse experience in the civil and mechanical industries, working 40 years in engineering, mechanical, aircraft, design, service and plastic trades.

 

Brian loves a challenge -where no mission is impossible. He takes pride in his work with a critical eye for detail always striving to raise standards and exceed expectations and will not stop until he is satisfied with each stage and the final product. This work ethic is important in our line of work for quality assurance and confidence that our work is of the highest quality and above industry standards.

GEMMA DOWSETT

Gemma Dowsett is the Operations Manager for NorthWater. With vast experience in civil operations, health, safety and environmental works, she has worked from the ground up which has given her a diverse and thorough insight and understanding of  the obstacles at each level and what is required to overcome these difficulties in order for people to carry out their best work for high performance quality assurance.

 

She will always go above and beyond to ensure her team are well looked after to provide them with the resources and training to enable a delivery of high quality work.

 

She is currently multitasking a number of roles including day to day operations, HR, administration, health and safety systems, environmental control, social media and last but not least culture and wellbeing which she believes to be the foundation of a strong team and organization.
