ABOUT NORTHWATER

Northwater specializes in watermain installation, EF and Butt welding, pressure testing, chlorination's and related services. Our team have extensive and diverse experience in the civil, utilities, environmental and Water industries working collectively with public and private sectors. Although its independent identity is new; the company’s internal operations, structure, manpower, expertise, attributes and work ethic are a product of experience and diverse industry knowledge which is key to the success of a project and being one step ahead in the game.

Having worked in both the public and private sectors the team at NorthWater have successfully delivered for large infrastructure, governmental, commercial and residential development projects in New Zealand's North Island.

The team have installed over 100,000kms of watermain and multi-purpose piping. These have included all types of fittings, valves, manholes, pump stations, relocations, investigations and testing, design alterations, collaboration with other contractors, client and stakeholder management, traffic control planning and execution and management across multiple sites.

All of our installers are trained and certified welders to ensure we are delivering a service where we are in control of the quality assurance from start to finish. The quality of install and connections is absolutely critical in our line of work, where it comes down to the finer detail to determine the success and longevity of a pipeline.

Due to our high standards of quality assurance our team are often sourced for remedial work to investigate new and/or old pipelines faults, leaks and rework.

We will always go above and beyond to exceed expectations, quality assurance and performance targets as demonstrated through our work history.

In these unprecedented times we have had to reassess our approach to enable us to readily adapt to changing economic and environmental climates, legislation and infrastructural demand. By adopting a holistic concept we have a clear vision on our current and future delivery and ability to carry out our targets alongside reactive works.

The reality our industry historically and currently is faced with, is a shortage in knowledge, specific skills and competency required to carry out effective and efficient work in this field to a particular standard for shared success.

We have put a lot of energy and focus into understanding root problems and how to overcome these common obstacles. This has led us to restructuring, implementing and streamlining new systems in order to mitigate root causes to enable our workers to upskill and to carry out high quality work safely in a positive work environment.

We have developed a quality assurance system that ensures we not only meet the regulatory body standards and specifications but so that we can determine our confidence in the work carried out is to a sustainable standard that can’t be challenged. We take great pride and value in our workmanship and ensure that at each stage data is captured and photo evidence is documented.

Collectively our team has a highly regarded reputation in complex and challenging infrastructure works. Being seen as a leader in our industry in the Northern region with high aspirations and concrete planning to expand nationwide.
