Hingaia Rising Main

As Auckland grows, NorthWater were engaged to assist and deliver infrastructure to support new homes and increase the capacity of Watercare’s wastewater network. One of these projects is the 630mm Hingaia Rising Main.

Initially, starting involvement in the detailed planning and co-ordination of construction design, NorthWater further executed all mechanical construction and PE Welding requirements, including time critical connection works to the existing infrastructure.

Critical works involved construction of a 600mm By-Pass Chamber, Tie-In chamber, Air - Valve and Scour Valve chambers- prior to providing all testing requirements.
