NorthWater was engaged to assist in delivering an emergency solution to install a temporary By-pass made up of polyethylene pipes 600mm in diameter.
In 20 days, involving both initial engagement, planning and construction of the 450m pipeline, this remedy to assist in significantly reducing the infrastructure overflows was complete.
In 3 days, NorthWater executed the fabrication, welding, installation, and commissioning of the temporary pump station, which assists to handle flows up to 600 litres per second.
